pain under foot
Does anyone know of a solution to my partner's running problem which began about a year ago. After running about 9 miles he begins to get intense pain under his feet between the ball and the toes which he describes as like running on hot coals. He has been to a podiatrist who has made him some special inner soles which have been adjusted several times but don't really seem to help. During his first marathon and a half marathon today, he had to stop and spray his feet with an ice spray to help him finish the race.
He has been told that the collagen between the toes has worn out?? Just wondered if anyone else has experienced this problem and has found a solution. Incidentally, he has flat feet and wondered if this could be part of the problem
Sound like something similar to someone in my running club. She pads under her feet with ? gel pads or similar, which seems to help.
He has tried this and it didn't seem to work, neither do the bespoke innersoles!
it could be a mental block so try hypnotherapy.
