Running with a Cast

Hi everyone. Broke my arm Ice Skating on Monday and for the next four weeks I have a fibreglass cast on my arm below the elbow. I intend to run the BUPA 10K and the Southend Half Marathon. Any tips on racing/ running with a cast on would be really appreciated. Thanks!

shouldn't be a problem when the swelling dies down - you might get a little discomfort and also sweat inside will irritate as there is no way you can dry it.

otherwise - don't go forearming other runners out of the way.......

It's gonna get very smelly .
