I had this last Feb year. It appeared one day, then went away again at some point. I don't recall when; it just wasn't there.
After a 10 mile XC training run last weekend my RH big tpe was sore at the knuckle joint. Possibly due to bruising. The joint itself is tender and did get better during the week, even though I ran. After yesterday's duathlon it is somewhat tender again. I'm pretty sure it is my XC trainers that cause this, and yesterday I used elastic laces in that weren't that tight...
Various trawls around the internet suggest a wide variety of causes, inlcuding Gout
.Last time I posted abut this I ended up getting reeled in by the Pirates, and now I'm training for my first IM.
So has anyone suffered from something like this?
