sore thigh - hamstring?

and will I be fit enough for Reading!!

Hi guys, since doing my first 10 miler last weekend I've had a pain in my thigh. Just about half way btwn back of the knee and upper thigh, and towards the outside. Particulary painful if I kneel down, and this evening when doing a quickish run it was rather bad, but has calmed down now that I've stopped.
Q what do I do about it, and will I be able to run my first half mara next sunday?

Hi Fraggle

Rest plenty this week (you should be tapering anyway), ice, stretch gently (gluteals and calves as well as hamstrings) and you'll probably be ready to race on Sunday.
