Stitch on start of running

What is causing my stitch?

Hello, can anyone help explain why I am starting to get a stitch everytime i start to run ? I have been running for a year now and this has just recently came on. Any thoughts would be great, Thx Rachel

starting too fast? starting on an uphill? pulled muscle?

Good be starting too fast, when you say pulled musle how would i have done that? By weights ? Thanks for answering

Stitches are caused by eating/drinking too late! Don't eat less than 2 hours before a race, and don't drink 1 hour before. If your only training these times can be halved.
