Hi, I run regular around 6 miles each run, the problem is that I suffer from stitch usually from miles 1-2 (so very quickly!). I have tried most things, keeping hydrated in the morning before a evening run, making sure i dont eat too soon before a run etc but nothing helps..........does anyone have any suggestions please???
Maybe you're setting off too fast and not warming yourself up properly beforehand. Maybe you're just running too fast overall. Try setting off slower and running the first couple of miles at that slow pace before speeding up to your usual pace. That might make a difference...
Stop holding your stomach in when you run. Breathe naturally.
