I missed out of the deal.  I had to pay my cat to be done

13/06/2013 at 23:12

I don't want to be microchipped

13/06/2013 at 23:12

Should have taken it to a cat's home then, not Dog chipping.

How it works

A tiny microchip is inserted under the animal’s skin. This gives the pet their own unique code.
The microchip can be scanned and matched to the owner’s contact details, which are kept on a database, such as the national PetLog database.
You must make sure the database you are registered with has your up-to-date contact details.

On Sunday 16 June 12-4pm Sydenham RSPCA will be doing free micro-chipping at 46 Sydenham Rd, SE26 5QF

We provide a free microchipping service. Further details can be found on our events page.

I'm sure if you'd have asked your cat he would have done it for nothing

Thanks Karen my wife read this and she has booked me in to be chipped and snipped!!

14/06/2013 at 13:11

So what are you then Grendel? A cat or a dog?

With RW's forums, every day can truly be heralded as a school day.

Why do people on benefits "benefit"? If you have a pet you should make sure you are capable financially to meet it's needs. If this is for the good of the animals it should be free to all.

I wish I could 'like' your comment Peter Everitt........(no prizes for guessing what I do for a living)
