I'll definitely support this one. I know I always check out what V-rap has to say because she's (a) very well informed about lots of stuff, and (b) has a great sense of humour. Hip hip hooray, hip hip hooray, V-rap, V-rap, wins the day!!!

Wahey, Wahey,

An MBE for services above and beyond the call of duty?

An MBE for sanity beyond the call of duty.

In a world where too many are barking and/or deluded we need a lot more like her.

Speech! Speech!

Er...thank you very much, ladies and gentlemen. This means more to me than my MBChB, MRCGP, London Marathon medal and new running gear all rolled together, and almost as much as my four-year-old daughter having a speaking part in her school's harvest festival today. Since you really want to know, she has to say, "Reception are going to sing a song". VERY loudly.

Bugger. Not only do I get a rep for women's stuff (which isn't my main interest) and calling a spade a sh1t-shoveller in my day job, it's followed me online. Must find a new hobby.

Love you all. Mwa mwa. Thanks, mum and dad, it's all down to you.

Put your hand through my computer terminal and I'll pass you a cold soggy samosa, EP. And a cup of monkey-brew coffee. Standard NHS fare.
