Hi. I'm trying to get back into some structured speedwork following a "relaxed" summer of running for fun! I expect to struggle, as I am, and to have lost speed, as I have but after a hard session I'm suffering for a few days with really tight muscles both legs (calf, quad, ham, gluteals - the lot) but also forearms and shoulders. Last night I dried my hair and my arms were really sore and then I got cramp, for the 2nd time of late, in my inner thigh muscle - never, ever had that before.
Anyone got any ideas what may be causing this and what I might do to ease it? Cheers...
