Did she get new shoes then Limper? What kind of shoe shop would you own? Sports? Fashion? Designer?

Just been for a 5 mile walk with the dogs. Was most enjoyable.

Running shoes Speedy. I covet running shoes. Couldn't give a hoot about any other sort of footwear - except for well fitting, insulated wellies for at the stables!

Well fitting, insulated wellies sound fab. Could really do with them here at the caravan. They don't make wellies wide enough for me bad leg. Fits fine on good leg but won't even look at the other.

The Eagle has indeed landed - at about 6.30pm last evening to be precise. Great week away in the SUN. Far too much food & booze, now going on a diet. 8.5 miles run this morning to the gym followed by an hour of body pump, then an hour of stretch & tone. Most days were 27-29 degrees, some rain for part of the last 2 days, but even that was warm! Shorts & t-shirt (or swim togs) at all times (whilst outside) from landing at Palma until across own front door last evening. Not too bad!

So, the Minstead Stinger next Sunday, then the Sodbury Slog in 4 weeks time. I need my head testing.

So you had a good time then RE? Gee whizz right back into training as well.

3 mile plod today. Day off tomorrow as at caravan but got to get up at 7am to book gym classes for next Monday.

Speedy, just done some back reading and see that you have been to body pump. I love it! The classes I go to are mixed age/sex/ability and we all get along and have fun whilst working our (fat) butts off. It is always funny when the 'lumpers' from the weights room join in. The five rep & preen merchants can't hack it. They usually only come once. Its all in the timing & technique you know, and that comes with regular practice!

RE the instructor said something about attending a class for technique. It did take me a bit to understand his instructions but luckily a woman next toe kept me right with the weights. I really enjoyed it but got a bit of a sore spot on the back of my neck as I ended up resting the bar there in squats as couldn't hold it up. There are so many classes and it's hard to get on them unless you are up early to book for following week. I want to try them all to see what I like best. Long working days and child mi ding days reduce my options but I will go back to body pump as enjoyed it. What classes do you recommend?
