Well done Speedy

Well done Speedy.
Does that make RE my little house elf

Keelan was born today at 15.42 weighing in at 7lbs 13oz. Grandma cut the cord. Proud grandma.

Don't know how to post a photo or I would.

Big hugs

Congratulations Grandma and Young Speedy and welcome Baby Keelan.
Hope you are all well and not too knackered!!

Where has our feathered friend gone this past week? I haven't heard him squawk for ages.

I ran on the beach (low tide) in the pitch dark tonight. Very liberating.

Limper did you go skinny dipping.....
RE is OK Limper, he is just a busy bird.
Will be dragging him out on a 20 mile run tomorrow
02/11/2012 at 22:31

Skinny dipping??? That would be implying that I am a skinny person going for a dip? Wrong on both counts then!!!

I did spend a fair bit of time sploshing through the low water puddles though as I couldn't see them until I landed in them!

20 miles is just ridiculous Tippy! Take the zero off the end and I might consider it.
Give the old bird a hug from me.

02/11/2012 at 22:43
Will do my best Limper but the old bird Is fickle.
Limper we will right the world on the way out and cause mayhem on the return.

Personally I have found the Eagle to be very huggable Tippy. Maybe it's down to my technique?!

Enjoy your long run boys.

I've spent a long time doing stable / hoss jobs this morning. I think that excuses me from running activities, yes?

How's things Speedy?

03/11/2012 at 11:55
Run was entertaining as always, a tad windy on way back but fun all the same
03/11/2012 at 17:35

Old bird? Me? Fickle? Me? Oh please!

Yes as Tippy said I have been a very busy bird lately. Missed three gym classes last week.  However, on the plus side have had two very enjoyable runs with the Tipster - Tuesday eve and then this morning.  I ended up adding a bit on and got to 21 miles. Could have done without the cold headwind for the last 7ish miles, but otherwise entertaining as usual.  We were definitely given the eagle eye by a low flying Red Kite at about mile 17.  I think he saw me as his dinner!

Would have liked to take it easy for the rest of the day but have been doing jobs at parents. Just had din dins, and a bottle of red is on the go.

On the 'old front' I have informed Mrs E that I intend to live a long time as I don't want to deprive the world of me!

Well done on your stupidly long run Eagle!!
You would be a sore loss to the world, that's for sure! Please do make sure that you stick around!
I intend to live a long time and be a burden to my children.

I'm going to have a slobby evening now, giving my armchair opinion on the Strictly contestants.

Evening from a proud but tired grandma. Glass of bubbly anyone? Speedy pours another glass. Well I have to celebrate number 5 grandchild

Very well done on the long run boys. You really are great motivation.

Having canx all my classes this week hopefully now I can get back to the gym. Have had the last week off work to care for daughters so back to work on Tuesday.

Off to a dig tomorrow.

If I dug into the ground today Speedy all I would do is create a lake!
It's hideous weather down here. Howling wind and lashing rain. And it's cold.

I'm considering running in one direction only (with the wind obviously) and then catching a bus back home! Or just staying indoors in the warm and dry!
