I haven't fully decided yet Speedy but it's pretty doubtful. If I was fitter I would be happy to try but I've been struggling a bit the past couple of weeks on short distances and the weather is just making it seem too daunting.
If I wake up to a beautiful winters day I'll give it a go. I'm up at the crack of dawn for the horses so will hopefully be able to make a decision in time.

Shame about your car. A big 4x4 shouldn't suffer that badly. Unless you dorve into the flood at a cracking speed and pushed a tidal wave through the front grill?!

Fingers crossed it might be nice enough for you but I understand where you are coming from especially if you feel you are not 100% fit.

Wasn't going fast. Possible about 40 everytime I hit a flood as cars right on my tail. There was a big wave each time due to the amount if water but it was also the amount of water lorries were throwing up coming the other way. Totally obliterated my windscreen doni couldn't see a thing until wipers cleared window. I guess it's done some damage. Can't afford another huge repair. The piggy bank us empty.

I guess the boys have swapped their fluffy pj's for their slinky lycra by now and have mustered for take off.
I'm still in my fluffy pj's, listening to the rain-free wind howling outside and struggling to make up my mind!
I'll go and prod the limpettes and see what they think.

I gained a marathon that I had no intention of running 12 short hours ago and it was entirely due to the power of friendship.
I don't know what I ever did to deserve Tippy and Eagle's friendship but I will be forever glad that I know them.

What can I say? Friendship, support, laughs, hugs. I could not do it without them.

You were there with us in spirit Speedy, and I believe a group hug piccie taken especially for you may be posted by Limper.

We all have our troubles, but they were set aside for 26.2 miles today in what was a truely moving experience.
