I don't believe that all people should be happy with what they find though Tippy. There are some bad sorts out there. But I get the general sentiment.
Now as for the doggy picture - I need to swap the outfit for waders and rain-hats for my dawgs!
Noooooo, don't zip-it Tippy!
Twas fun! You need to do it more often.
You boys been up to something?!
I'm still in the sick-bag unfortunately It's really snot fair.
(grabs, blanket and dones gloves)
Limper i popped in to RE's Gym (fitness centre) yesterday.
1st got roped into a suspension class (it is fun and taxing)
2nd did body pump
Loved both and had a great time with RE's other play mates
I've been to my gym this morning...Resistance - pushing a loaded wheelbarrow through the mudWeights - lifting hay-bales out of the hay-loft (I'm only iccle)Endurance - up and down the yard (with wheelbarrow) several times Free work - chasing dawgs / being chased (with brooms)
Now bring that blankie over here Tippy. I need wrapping up and cuddling and generally being looked after. Leave the rubber gloves off though - they're really not my thing
Limper like it.
Hehe Limper - who needs gyms eh?!
What's a suspension class? Mind bogles!! Is it like a TRX thing?
I've really struggled to get myself out for my run this week. Finally got out yesterday to be confronted with a flooded lake and a unpassable path! Went today in the end and did my 3.8miles as planned. 44 minutes - so average of about 11.5min/mile which whilst I accept isn't fast is a pace I am happy with It was a major battle from the word go though and I had to just push on throught it.
Certainly wasn't a 'I love running' day!!
Ally - that is a tremendous distance to be running and a respectable speed. You should be very pleased with yourself. I always like to think that the days when it is tougher are an even greater achievement than the 'I love running' days.
Enjoy your weekend Speedy.
I can't believe that I am still poorly sick. I hate to think what a bug like this would do to someone who is frail.I don't think I'm going to be getting my Eagle-hug next weekend
What is TRX?
Still, it's actually a reasonably nice day out. That's always a bonus.I shall go and do my 'gym' session and appreciate getting some fresh air (part way) in to my poor knackered lungs.
Hope you all have a lovely day.
BTW - Ally... isn't it Amelia's Happyday around now? I have it in my head (a strange place to be sure) that she was near but not on Valentines? I could be a whole 6 months out though, as I have been with Tippy's and my best friend's for the last couple of years!
Hope you are feeling better for a bit of sunshine Limper.
I am feeling quite pleased with myself. Went out on Friday and again today for 30 mins walk/run intervals. Really enjoyed it and am getting my confidence back. Excited about my next session on Tuesday when I will increase run intervals a bit.
Thanks everyone for the encouragement, it has really helped.
Keep it up Dr Fish.
