Really enjoyed meeting up with Limper again & a Limpette.  Limper did good, dug in and showed them. Happy to guide her in for a successful landing.

Limper baked me a cake too. Very nice it is too - a big slice has just disappeared, um, where did it go?  ah, I know.  The Eagle is still refuelling for tomorrow's flight with Tiptoes.

Eagle - your cake's twin which I kept is about three times the size of yours! That tub I put yours in must have acted like some sort of Bermuda Triangle for sponge mix!

I don't think I'll be ready for a run tomorrow... my buttocks ache

Evening. Hope you enjoyed your cake. I am being very good diet wise. 2lbs off this week. Unfortunately still working on getting rid of the festive blip. Will be a big announcement when it is all off.

No plod tonight as too long day. Had the fleeting thought of getting up at 5am to plod but one tiny dog had me up with his barking at 3am!!! So after going back to bed it was even a struggle when alarm went off at 6am.

Well done to Eagle for being back on the plod after his efforts on Sunday.
And I suppose well done to Tippy too!

Well done for your weight loss Speedy.
I haven't lost any weight at all lately - despite dragging myself round a hilly half at the weekend. Bah humbug.

27/02/2013 at 08:36

Limper (( RE told me all about your hilly half))

27/02/2013 at 09:28
A hilly half sounds like hard work.

Yes, Speedy, a hilly half is very hard work work! My legs have recovered but unfortunately it's really aggravated the chest infection that I thought I'd got over.

Hack hack cough...

 Happy Birthday you OLD Bird

28/02/2013 at 10:12

Sounds like happy birthdays are in order so Happy Birthday Eagle  Hope you have a fun day.

Had a lovely run this morning.  Still managing to increase my distance without losing any pace which is encouraging.  4.5miles this morning in 53 minutes - that will do.  I really want to do the 10k in less than 75 minutes so am on track.  Only slight worry is that it's in 10 days time - eek!  I think/hope/pray/am assured that I can add on distance on the day courtesy of good old adrenaline.

Now to go on with the rest of the days activities.

Happy birthday RE. Hope it was a good one.

Well done Ally. You are doing great. It's nice to see you up and running again. You will do great in the 10k.

Limper you need to take care of yourself.

Well my day ran away with itself. One minute it was 8am and I had picked up a 4 year old followed by picking up a 4 month old who was having a grumpy day - nothing unusual there as he is hard work. The next thing it was 5pm and time to return said children. I came home to 3 boisterous dogs needing walked. I am shattered.

Off to bed as before I know it it will be 6am and time for work.
