I'll settle for a (last) Tango in Paris you cheeky little TT.
I've been tangoed independently by two women in the last few days.
Robbie was fab last night. So enjoyed it. Didn't get home till 2.30am. It took over 1hr just to get out of the car park. Work was a bit of a struggle today. Needless to say no plod today but will rectify that tomorrow after a full nights sleep tonight.
Now to look forward to Bon Jovi next week
Go for it speedy!
Morning my lovelies. It's another beautiful morning here. I'm almost beginning to believe we are having a summer this year!Dawgs and I have just been out for a waddle on the beach. Only a couple of miles and not much faster than walking pace - but it's the best I've done for a few weeks. Hope that is adequate training Eagle, or do I have to do more?!!
Enjoy your concert Speedy. I'm just a wee bit jealous!
Well done on the plod Limper, you will be fine as the Eagle will look after you
Rock 'n' Roll Speedy
As I am nto back at work until Tuesday do I win the 'get to the end of the week' race?
Only flippin race I'm gonna win! Not run for ages, my back is giving me gyp
I've just been for an unplanned plod in the rain with a friend that I have not plodded with for far too long. A route totally new to her, she worked hard and surprised hersef. It made me proud of her. (and I got a hug).
Evening all. Well done on the run limper and you RE.
Ally hope your back eases up soon. Pain isnt nice
Plodin the forest tonight with little dog. He got up hills better than me. Knees and feet really sore. Not a happy speedy.
Sorry limper but I love concerts. Hubby says I am too old to be going to them but I just said he was the old one not coming with me. Thank goodness for daughters. Now to talk one of them into getting tickets for Rod Stewart
Sorry to hear you are suffering Ally. What have you done to your back? You can definitely win the race this week
Stop 'training' Eagle or you won't be slow enough to look after me at NF10
Good for you Speedy! Leave the hubby at home in his slippers and go and enjoy yourself!
Tippy - mwahmwahmwah.
Limper - we will have fun & laughs. Is it fancy dress?
You can wear a dress if you want to Eagle.
A night dress perhaps as it might be dark when I finish.
I would offer to dress up with you Eagle, but we will probably end up running seperately because I'm so slow (remember Heartbreaker) and then I'd be looking daft all alone!
Limper, I have not run 10 miles since Reading Half back in March. I'm digging in there, hanging on in, griding away. Managed a total of 8.5 miles this morning on lone run with break @ 3 miles when I bumped into non running friends/colleagues.
We will support each other, first one in runs back out for the other - done deal. I may need a shoulder massage -so keep those fingers loose.
This evening I have watched younger Eaglet bowl for Shinfield 1sts and take the last wicket for a win, followed by a pint with him & some of the team afterwards. Perfick.
Eagle - I have run 2 miles this month. I've done a lot of walking though - and may have to employ that option at NF10.
I managed to grind out exactly six miles this morning, no stops, 57.03. I looked like I'd come out of a swimming pool when I finished at the sports centre.
RE missed you
You need to improve your aim TT.
Guys, just to say - if RW don't sort this site out very soon I'll probably pack my bags and leave. Having to search through old threads and validate accounts etc every time I want to post a word to you is not my idea of a comfortable forum sofa. Let's see if they get off their arses and do something sensible today. If not...
