The sun has got his hat on, hip, hip. hip hooray!
I remember watching Dixon of Dock Green many moons ago
Speedy is now in the Lake District We have a lovely lodge for a week. Unfortunately I have feet that are burning and have pins and needles in them. I think I did too much today. Tis not good. Hopefully I might manage a few little walks during the week.
Hope you are all well and happy. Big For everyone
Enjoy your week in the Lake District Speedy! We went there a couple times when our 2 boys were young. First time we stayed in Windermere when there was a drought, second time was just outside at a small village called Ings. We stayed in a real ale pub with about 10 different real ales on tap - and they did great breakfasts.
Hope that the weather is kind to you.
Hi RE. We are in a lovely lodge near Keswick. Many years ago we were near here with youngest daughter and did a lot of walking. There was a drought then so it must have been same year as you. Hubby does enjoy trying the real ales
Weather poor today. We walked round Keswick. Dogs were well behaved for a change.
have a good time Speedy
Dreaming of real ale......
Where is everyone?????
Had a nice week in the Lakes. Hubby and biggest yorkie - Molly - climbed Skiddaw yesterday. Weather was fab for them. Really missing doing all the walking with them.
Last day here tomorrow then back to the borders till Monday then home. Got doctors Monday afternoon to see if back to work. Still cant get shoes on and right foot painful. Left foot is either still very swollen or the bunion is still there
Looking forward to getting back to plodding and getting the pounds off I have gained during my inactivity.
Is everyone ok? Too quiet on here.
I'm still here Speedy. I hope that all goes well for you at the Doctors.
I've not been doing much running lately. Life and injuries have got in first. Hey ho, things will get better and the enforced rest will do me good (so Tiptoes tells me). Nil desperandum - the Eagle will fly again soon.
im here as well, have to check on people make sure they are behaving
I always behave
I'm never naughty
Its those around me
Hiya boys. Hope things are ok RE. Not a bad injury hopefully. Tiptoes are you still running then?
Signed off for another 2 weeks then hopefully back to work. Still limping but getting better.
Where is Limper? Hope she is ok.
I'm being sensible honest (Tiptoes might be looking in). Trying to get back into things, managed a 4.5 mile run before body pump yesterday.
Speedy, yep still running, would go nuts otherwise.
RE i know you have been naughty but you were also encouraged
And I've been plied with more fantastic flapjacks courtesy of one of those lovely agent provocateurs.
i will have to have words with a certain young lady, "wheres mine"
Her blonde partner in crime gave me a hug tonight. Lovely jubbly.
Very quiet on here. I have to come to check for posts as no alerts these days although he box is ticked.
