How long will it take to recover??

Anyone had an op recently?? I'm going in the week after the Shakespeare Marathon and having my veins stripped.

I had an op about 25 years ago but apparently it wasn't done very well and blood has been leaking back into the old veins so I've got two 60-70 cm columns of standing blood in both legs, which I suppose isn't to clever??

Anyway I really don't want to lose too much fitness having got into marathon shape.

Any ideas??????

hello
well, walking is advised immediately post op, so i reckon you could be running within a fortnight assuming you have no complications
good timing for your op though
