Ideal as I wanted to do the SVP100 but still think its too far for me.  Then this marathon popped up

Yup - convinced David I wasn't mental too, as its the weekend following our return from honeymoon, but he can sit in one of his favourite pubs all day waiting for me to run past

yes, next week. supposed to be a nice race!

training is not going too bad, had a bit of a motivation dip last week, but this week is getting better.

Oh, and did i say that i have bitten the bullet and signed up for a little jog around Paris too!

16 miles on the clock yesterday, over a mixed course with lots of mud and water! think i have trenchfoot now

We'll be taking over the streets of Paris...well, maybe not quite but there will be loads of us there. I don't know if you've seen but there is a Paris thread which is full of very nice and helpful people - a great place to hang around if you want to stay motivated:
