Thank you Mouse.

Slightly scared but also very excited!  I shall keep you all updated.

Right, I'd better get running and run off the burger and chocolate brownie (my last for many months)  I've just had for lunch.

Well done guys.  Look forward to reading all about your training.

Looks like a worthy bunch to me!  Congratulations all four of you, and enjoy your training.

To everyone else (expecially newcomers)  --  This site's still a great resource for all of us.  The training plans for all levels are there for us to download.  The forum is a wonderful place to receive advice, motivation and encouragement from your peers as well as the expert articles.  And you can always blog your experiences over on Fetch!

Let’s all have a great 2008.

Good luck again fab four....Happy trails!

Might just do that Candy.  I was intending to run around Hyde Park anyway with A N Other Forumite so I can kill two birds with one stone.

Have you noticed that 3 out of the 4 in the dream team have listed one of their weaknesses as being chocolate.

I know for a fact that the other one is telling porkies.

21/12/2007 at 17:17
I'm not telling porkies, I just didn't declare it.   You do realise this means no more visits to Starbucks on Saturdays

Is chocolate out even if it's organic, free-trade, 70% cocoa solids and all that other stuff they keep telling us?

Congratulations to all 4 of you, you lucky beggars!!!

I felt today like I did the weekend of the very first lottery, when I had convinced myself that God loves a trier, and so the 6 numbers were mine. Even more so when the first 2 were mine! Ah well, the home made plan will have to suffice, but I did think on this mornings 10 miler about how I would feel with the pressure of expectation if I did get the Golden Ticket!!

Now I can relax and enjoy my first mara!

Good Luck all of us!!!

Thank you so much for all of your best wishes.

Little Stoker.. your 'pitch' was one of the best and your fan club was strongly in evidence, sorry to see that you missed out.

Best of luck to all of you who have a cherished place. If any of you need any tips about the training or FLM generally please ask.

For those of you who don't know me, I have been on the forum since the very early old old format days - nearly as long as Hipps {O: However I tend to live a hermit like existence on the daily training thread, occasionally popping over to the FLM & Events sections. I live in Tadcaster, North Yorkshire which is famous only for having 3 breweries, lots of pubs and very cheap beer!
