What are the gudelines for training while under the weather.

I am currently on antibiotics for tonsillitis which end at the end of the week.

I am feeling much better today but does anyone know how long should I leave it before I restart my training?

I have not been for a run for 2 weeks due to flu symp and swollen glands. Beginning to feel better now, but I dont really see the point in going out and pushing yourself on a run whilst feeling under the weather,I was hoping to go out yesterday, but now aiming for tomorrow instead. In some instances it can be dangerous to run when unwell
Gizmo, with a bacterial tonsillitis, your body is trying to fight the infection The fact that you have been given antibiotics in the first place suggests that your throat must be quite bad, because they let alot of throat infections clear on their own these days. I would suggest that you concentrate on taking your antibiotics, drink plenty of fluids and rest over the next few days and wait until a couple of days after you have finished taking the medication before you tackle a run.-Thats my opinion. There is still plenty of time, dont make things worse and I really hope you get well soon
