As you probably know Shona Crombie-Hicks won the 1,000 mile challenge and she had a bet with Dave Bedford that he would shave off his moustauche if she won - well on the FLM site is a picture

Looks like it's had a touch image manipulation about it to me

But you never know. What does anyone else think?

It never occurred to me that it was fake, but I'm no expert. What makes you say it's been maniipulated?

Dunno really - I think his body looks a bit thin, and young, but I spose of all people Dave Bedford should be in good shape for his age ;-)

I'm in two minds about the new look, he's certainly younger looking but I quite liked the Jason King's older brother look ;-)

I knew it was a fake - see post from Shona Crombie-Hicks herself and also a post on the UK running newsgroup with Dave Bedford spotted at the Boston Marathon complete with tash:

"On the way back we bumped into David Bedford COMPLETE WITH MOUSTACHE! DB hasn't yet shaved off his moustache after the
completion of the 1000 mile challenge, shame on you Mr Bedford, a bet is a
bet."
