Deferring - Spring Marathon

I'm now definitely deferring, knee isn't going to get better in time. Just wandered what happens when you send your form in. Do they send an acknowlegdement? When do they get in contact about next year?

It may have changed since 2002, but as I recall very little happens until about May, when they send you a letter that you have to fill in saying you want to take up the place next year, and post off your cheque.

I then didn't get any acknowledgement until March - I ended up ringing several times as I was worried I hadn't got in!

Thanks XFR Bear, I know when to start panicking and checking bank statements now!

At least I've got loads of time to train for FLM05, 14 months and counting...
