Is anyone else shattered at the moment? Been traing really well for FLM and looking for about 3 hours. But since i started 'tapering' my training over the last few days i feel so tired i dont reckon i could run to the end of the street let alone a marathon! Or does anyone have any tips?

your body will naturally tend 2 become tired if your tapering down,if youve been going well dont taper 2 much & make sure your food & fluid intake is good.

I always feel terrible last couple of weeks before marathon, its quite natural to feel tired and lethargic during the taper, enjoy the last week, all the hard work is done, you will be raring to go on the day im sure.Good luck Richard.

Got the same prob myself.

Trying for 3h, but running this lunchtime I could barely get up to 7.30pace.

Don't remember feeling like this before other marathons.

A bit worried, but hoping things will get better before 17th Apr.

I feel exactly the same. I am not as fast as you guys... I am aiming for sub 5 or there abouts. Ran last week quite comfortably but yesterday I struggled to do two miles. I think it is a combination of lack fo sleep and general fatigue from all the miles I have been running. Going to rest for a couple of days and eat lots of fruit, increase carbs and drink lots of water

Ive been tired for the past few weeks , even before the tapering I felt exhausted.
The health food shop suggested a supplement called rhodiola rosacea and it is reeally helping

I always feel lke sh*t when tapering so I wouldn't worry too much yet. Also even though I feel like that I am dying to get out there. sometimes hard to stop myself
