Not much of an advert for a healthy diet, is it?

And just how healthy is a diet without fat?

I don't think anyone's suggesting you live exclusively on Flora!

Everything in moderation !

If you ran marathons every day that wouldn't do you a lot of good either - would it ?

(sorry Dustin mate !)

Bit of a non starter there then Oracle!

Don't suppose the organisers much care who puts up the sponsor money.

The McDonald's London Marathon, anyone? The Bacardi Breezer London Marathon? I was going to suggest the Marlboro London Marathon, but our sport doesn't have a Bernie Ecclestone at its helm to grease our way past the law on tobacco sponsorship of sport.

The Snickers Marathon?

Poor, Womble, very, very poor!

Bit of a con how they can sell you fat and add 40% water, really. Not as much as a con as the virtually milk free water stuff though!

I think gordons should sponsor it
id get a guaranteed place then as Im their best customer

Benz, you'd end up weaving along the course after too many G&Ts at the feeding stations, and doing 31 miles.

it might be an improvement on the last marathon Oracle:)
22/11/2002 at 19:17
You only improve if you eat Flora.
22/11/2002 at 19:24
What, neat??
22/11/2002 at 21:55
Oracle: Replace "G+Ts" with "Gs" and you're nearer the mark ;)

I think Psi is suggesting that you don't have a lot of tonic in your gin, Benz!

How about greasing the entire 26.2 miles with Flora and sliding the distance - that should be pretty fast. Not sure how it would mix with Lucozade sport thoguh.
