How do you enter?

What is the deal with entering the London Marathon? I know with GNR you can buy entry for 3 more years, once you are in- but may theoretically never get in, if you are really unlucky. Is the situation the same with the London? Does this mean I can theoretically enter for 10 years straight with no guarantee of entry? Once I'm in, do I automatically get a place offer for the next year? What are the odds of my getting in?

I know it's a bit of a boring forum, but I would appreciate it if anyone can advise me. Thanks :)

After the 5th rejection you will get a place.

You can try Ebay - there's always the odd space on there (until someone splits).

OMG 5 times. That's awful. I like the ebay thing. Dishonest, in a good kind of way. Made me laugh when I read your post :) What is the going rate?

I curse myself. I entered about 3 or 4 years back and got straight in, but bottled it because I didn't start training.
