I'm running Brighton the week before supporting too, looking forward to being off the wagon this year! Who has ordered some decent weather, just a sun spot over mile 17 so our runners don't melt out there.
Sorry to hear your news Becks. Hope you recover soon. Mind you im sure supporting will be lots of fun! Im looking forward to joing you all hopefully next year, as a good friend of mine has also had to withdraw from this years marathon and is running it next year.
So so looking foward to this now and meeting you all!! you will probably have to give me a boot up the backside to get me going again
Kate I hope you do have a lovely sun spot at mile 17.
As this is first marathon - I have been following a Hal Higdon plan I have two long runs left a 19miler this weekend and a 20miler on 31st March. Is it worth doing a little more or should I just stick to the distance?
Be good to see you again, RR - good luck at Paris

Claire, there is no need to do any more than 20 miles in training. I've done 5 marathons now and never done a training run longer than 20 miles, and often I don't get above 16 miles.
Looking forward to meeting all the new faces that have signed up.
First marathon - or first London?
if its ure first marathon full stop
u need to consider not burning out and taper
arriving fresh - that does not mean no running at all, it simply means ease of the distance
u dont want any injuries - and u dont want to be tired, heavy legged, or exhausted -
now, people, you can trust me on this or not,
20 miles in training still eaves 6 miles unknown territory, and its all on the day
i speak as an " Old Hand "

Was that a nag at me madam?! Lol - I'm not hopeful of getting the lists done befor the weekend now so will take the laptop home from work and hopefully do them on Sunday (whilst recovering from the rugby all day on Saturday - I am unable to watch it without feeling the need to raise a glass - or ten!!!)

Hi, Husband is running - WILKO. Can his name please be added. Its also His 43rd BIRTHDAY
Will have lots of family with me, so I won't be at the 'RW' cheering spot. Will be cheering LOUDLY for everyone with loads of banners & balloons & my megaphone, though.
Can't wait. Its going to be brilliant.*
