Hiya I know its getting close but is it too late to join a group and drop some goodies off to keep me going on the day - in 2007 I remember you bringing a smile to my face when it was most needed. I am a slow 51/2 to 6 hour runner so with you about 4 hours I should think. wearing stroke assoc kit with ANN on the front and probably with a face like a beetroot - thanks A

bikermum - pop over to Group 5 and tell them I sent you.  They'll attend to your needs on the day.

Hi

Just seen this thread, its my first marathon, been running 7 months and running with my eldest daughter.  I will be running for action on pre eclampsia and wearing one of their vests with my name on the front 'Carol' - would love to just have some support - hope to finish in 5.15.

13/04/2012 at 21:51
Waving and shaking of our pompoms available to all Carol and we'll be handing out jelly babies and jaffa cakes.  If you want to join a support group and leave stuff at the Expo to collect on the way round let me know and I'll allocate you to a group
13/04/2012 at 21:55

yes i'll wave my bits at you - is that ok

but i am only a novice i cannot shout any advice  LMAO

good luck and keep well

13/04/2012 at 22:01

Excellent!! thanks guys, I should hopefully be at mile 17 at about 3.25 ish based on previous training runs.  Jaffa cakes and jelly babies sound good!, will be at exp on saturday. x

13/04/2012 at 22:05

Adopt yourself onto Group 5 then Carol & daughter.  They'll take you under their wing

And I can assure you that Mick will not be waving his bits at anyone.  I'll make sure I keep him under control .... I'll use a big stick if I have to

13/04/2012 at 22:06

Oh great - its time for emotional stuff.

Has anyone posted this yet?

13/04/2012 at 22:08
