In which case "Good For Age" might be stretching it a bit

That's why I questioned the race date, it looks like they've just copied and pasted the email text without changing the date or something.

Applied last Thursday, not heard yet

03/07/2013 at 15:12

I applied last Weds soon after they opened and have just received the emailed confirmation.  I'm now in.

I'm pretty sure the date is the 13th.

At £32, has it gone up?  I thought it was £28 last year.  Nonetheless a long way to go to reach Brighton's cost and a long long long way to go to regulate the demand...

 I paid £35. ...because I'm not in a club?

My acceptance email says championship entry. Does everyone's say that?

Still waiting

I think it's going to be busy at the championship start this year.

I just phoned them up and they said I have been accepted etc and that I should have received an email - I haven't received it (or at least I can't find it) so they sent again, and now I have email confirmation so going to enter/pay etc.

So - if you've not heard anything may be worth ringing them up .

I applied on Tuesday (25th) and heard nothing so rang them up today.  After waiting on the line for 10 mins I got through and within 2 mins they had checked my information and I got the confirmation e-mail very shortly afterwards.  Definitely worth giving them a call if you have not heard anything after seven days to hurry things up.

Still waiting, called up and was told they are still working through entries. They were not able to say why some entries have emailed links when others, who entered earlier, have not!

I have to say the person I spoke to did not inspire!

Got my email today - applied on Tues 25th.  Online entry a breeze...confirmation of payment and place (to the Champs...I think not!) straight after.

Still waiting! Now they are saying I may not receive anything until the end of next week  Fruatrating as seems to be no logic in the order they are dealing with applications!

There is now a recorded message saying that provided you got your application in by the deadline, then you will hear back by the 17th July. I just phoned them up to verify that they'd got my application (they have), so now it's just a case of waiting.

I got a rejection email this afternoon saying I'd been turned down for one of three reasons - I hadn't met the qualifying standard (I had), my race was too long ago to count (it wasn't) or I live outside the UK (I don't). I had a short conversation with them on the phone which went roughly 'I don't understand why I've been rejected', 'er, neither do we', I have the correct email!

The moral of that being that they appear to have no idea what they're doing, and don't panic if you get a rejection.

I agree about having no idea what they are doing! However I have, at last, received my link

Got mine today! Phew! I guess as it's the first time online, there's  bound to be a few hiccups.

05/07/2013 at 21:05

I've got mine too. It also says championship. My time was 2:58. No suspect the championship bit is an error.

05/07/2013 at 22:11

Mine says Championship too! Maybe we've all been upgraded...not!

08/07/2013 at 13:37

I too got an email saying Championship place.

The time to panic is when you receive a bib with your surname written across rather than a race number.
