After 12 weeks of excellent marathon training I've picked up a nasty calf strain/tear last weekend and not been able to run for ovr a week now.
I'm worried that I'm going to miss too much training now before I'm due to taper to be able to have a realistic shot at my sub 3 hour target.
I'm now thinking I may have to pull out and want to know if this is the case can my place be deferred to next year? I got my place through the good for age scheme not the ballot or charity?
Any one have similar experience? I've not been able to speak with anyone at VLM yet.
as long as you didnt defer last year you should be fine
there are details in the magazine that came last week - have a look at page 19 all the details are there.
I called VLM today about deferring my club place and it only took me a few mins to get through.
