No Pen Number on Running Number? - Spring Marathon

My running number doesn't have a starting pen number sticker on it.

Just me?

Mine didn't have a starting pen number either.

I went the the Helpdesk and they assigned me a number. They wrote it on in biro but am now worrying that this might cause problems with the marshalls on the day.

Fingers crossed it won't - don't really want to start at the back.

Good point - nothing to stop people peeling the sticker off and writing it on.

Just plead innocence (which is the truth) and I'm sure you'll be ok - if not, try and enter the pen elsewhere.

If not, punch the marshal!

(NOT REALLY, MARSHAL's HAVE FEELINGS TOO and do a GOOD JOB).
