Not Happy with official photos? Please write to FLM - Spring Marathon

If you are not happy with the quality of the photos you received or the service from Marathonfoto can you please write to FLM to let them know your views. I rang them and they were very interested in my comments and said as it is the first year that they've used Marathonfoto they would welcome feedback. The address you need is:

Just a question - what exactly are you disappointed with? This isn't a dig at you for not being happy, it's a genuine query. Mine last year (my first marathon) were rotten, and this year's are much better: more of me and pretty well-framed. The actual prints are okay without being great and could have been framed better, but my only real complaint (apart from the fact there was no finish-line shot of me) was the cost: four 5x7 shots for £53, with no reduction for more than one, is far too much.

So what is it everyone is unhappy with? Quality, cost, how you look in each shot, number of shots of you?

Hi PH - that's interesating. Obviously I can't compare mine with yours, so it may be I just have very low standards. But to be honest, mine are crisp and the colour is okay.

I have no ActionPhoto to compare with - when mine arrived last year I thought "ugh" and threw them away or sent them back. Only two, as I recall, and I looked awful - not their fault, they just caught me at an awkward moment! Can't remember their quality now.

The composition of mine is fine (in fact the finish line & Mall ones are great) and there are lots to choose from, but the resolution etc. is appalling, the colours are terrible, the pictures are blurry, there is a green cast and I can see the pixels (it's only a 5x7 and I barely cropped it) - need I say more?

Have only got round to ordering mine. Difficult to see quality from thumbnails and not able to zoom in to see how bad pained expression is. When I am female and was in pen nine why would I want a picture of the elite start? Trying to find yourself on Action photos 8 mile picture was much more fun.

Pleased a lot of people feel the same

Obviously the photo people cant be held responsible if its just a bad phot ie you walking or have a funny expression

However, my photos could have been taken anywhere - and the finish ones are awful - pictures of people running through yellow boxes. No indication that it it was the FLM - absolute rubbish for £12 each - bring back action photo

When I last ran London I had a great finishing picture of me with the Palace in the background and also a good one of me on the bridge

This company this year must have made tens of thousands of pounds in profit fir a job I could have done with a digital camera

then again I did nor run FLM 2006.

They didnt even crop the one photo I asked them to!

Quality definitely down on last year even though there was only a couple of me then. Bring back actionfoto.

Will be posting my letter this weekend
