Last Sunday, I runned the Full Marathon in Edinburgh.
I can't find anywhere what the precise number of runners of this full marathon was.
I keep always finding that the total number of runners for the week-end was around 27,000 but does someone know how many we were to run the marathon ?
Have you tried looking at the results?
8077 finishers http://local.stv.tv/edinburgh/magazine/103454-edinburgh-marathon-festival-2012-results-of-the-full-marathon/
I think the 12,000-odd must have been the number originally entered. On the EMF website you can search by individual name but I can't see where they list all the results which I think is a bit strange.
12,635 entrants, according to the EMF press pack
entered, you'd expect 25% not to turn up on the day, maybe 3000?
250-500 failing to finish?
