When and where can I get a copy of the official photos from the finishing pen?

Thanks Adam,

I'm 28% complete as well, I didn't realise that there would be a series of photos.

Nice to have an action shot as well as just the finishing photo.

I think that may mean they are 28% of their way through sorting all the pics as mine says 28% as well. Prices are one of the biggest rip-offs in internet history anyway.

had some photos from marathonphoto.com from Bristol. The prices were extortionate and the photos were terrible quality. I sent it back it was that bad and got a refund.

the one I like of me is after the finish cougs just after I'd picked up my bag from the trucks - I wasn't aware they were still taking photos then so it's quite a natural shot of me - admittedly walking but hey! medal on and a smile...

I have no photos yet. I strongly suspect I looked so shagged out they knew I wouldn't buy the photos even if they did take them.

I am actually smiling and look rather normal, even the one at the start was good. See what the running ones look like! I'm quite impressed.

Its on the list as London Marathon 2010 not Virgin Marathon

Easiest way is to go to the London Marathon site - go to the results tab - enter your number - click on your name and it gives you all the 5k splits and a link to marathonfoto for your pics. Its v good.

Also worth looking at www.42run.com where there are links to some free and some paid-for photos. MF have only a couple of me from the finish line, but 42run has a couple more from mile 23 that are easier to preview and of great quality (and pain!). And... they're £4 each for an un-watermarked version.

Reflecting the laws of price elasticity, I'm much happier stumping up £8 for a couple of good photos than I am paying £60 for three that I can't even see in detail in the thumbnail.

If you click on the thumbnail you get a larger version with a watermark over it.

Mine are pretty all me smiling and looking totally mental. Not paying those prices anyway. Photoshop anyone?

I'm also not impressed: there's several photos taken as I'm finishing, but you wouldn't know as the finish gantry doesn't appear in any of them. No actual on the line shot. Since there were not that many people on the course at that point and definitely photographers about I'm not too impressed.

Will look at that other site when I get the time. Thanks get down!
