Paris marathon insurance cover

will my standard insurance be ok

Hi 

Just after a bit of advice regarding holiday insurance, i will be doing my first overseas marathon (Paris) we are going to be there for 4 days so have the usaul holiday insurance with my bank. I dont know if this will be will be enough if anythink where to happen to me whilst taking part, which i am quiet certain it wont but you never know.

Any advice appreciated

Check the small print and see if Matathon running is covered ?
If it isn't you'll need something more specific like dog tag or something.

have read the small print just says excludes extreme sports, which really doesnt help at all. I think i will take your advice and look at something more specific,
