Hi

Can anyone recommend somewhere to park on Sunday, I would like it to be free (which I think a lot of London is on Sunday's) and near to a tube station.

I'll be coming from Wiltshire along the M4.

Thanks

Greenwich Station, near to the start and just a tube journey back after you finish.

Thats what I did last year and its free on Sundays I think? If not I dont think its too expensive..

Good luck

the streets off Vauxhall Bridge and surrounding area back streets  of the Tate gallery

i'd agree with Mick - behind the tate modern is perfect - quiet area and close to lots of tubes (pimilco, westminster, victoria).

I'd say parking round Greenwich will be stressful. And it would mean driving further round on either the M25 ( on a good day) or center of london and lots of roads will be closed from 7am onwards.

Tate Britain I think you mean not Tate Modern.  I've parked there regularly on Sundays with no problem, but not sure what marathon day will be like of course.

North of Piccadilly, Albemarle street etc is all free on Sunday, pop into the Ritz on your way back.
