you could always have quick trip to the charoty shop Jason to find a jumper you can chuck.... or if all else fails get a bin bag and cut head and arm holes out

my next race is bupa 10,000 on 27th May- not too worried about it as I should surely get a PB as not raced a 10k in years and my last one was 1hrs 2mins!

Then I have Ealing Half at the end of September- now FF would aiming for 2.00 dead be a stoopid goal?

I found one link to it but the event website is doing nothing and nothing in events on Triathletes world, Looks good thought 5/20/5km.  Presumable road....I need that excuse......

I haven't done a 10K since October..... You'll get a nice PB at Bupa Vik.

Good Luck Jason.  I did a very nice bin bag with a head hole but don't do arm holes cos I like to keep my arms warm.

 Thats it then last 4 mile easy done, just last day as work today and expo tomorrow!

First recovery run done for me. Legs a bit heavy but OK. Just over 4miles at 9.43. Lungs were worse than legs tbh. Then 15mins on the rower and some stretches. Not quite ready to tackle the 6w6p DVD yet.....

It is a toss up whether I felt worse last Monday or today.

Did we agree to do Bushy Parkrun ???  Maybe pop into Sainsburys after...

Having to ask a colleague to do that for me as im in the isle of wight

and i know mobile phone connections can be a bit dodgy over there

looking at a 2 year strategy now....

So now we have that silly marathon stuff out of the way what next for everyone?

I'm planning on running the Walton/Frinto half on 13th may and then it's eyes down for the fianl puch to the Outlaw on 1st July.

Guessing now you have a bike Vik we best get you sized up for your pirate kit.....just sayin'..

Hi FF, did Bracknell HM in the rain last weekend, 1:54, dragging a friend round her first HM in the deluge! Pleased with that. Legs been dire since really, not sure itf it's all been catching up with me or to blame dental abscess/antiobiotics and lots of painkillers dragging me down.

Did a plod/wade round the flooded 5k course for the race I am organising in 6 weeks on Wednesday afternoon, a DIRE 5miles yesterday and a LSR with a sub-28 (pb is 24.02) parkrun total, 10.66miles.

Quick cycle planned tomorrow and then leafletting at Frimley 10K and another run MOnday of some sort.

Then there is the issue of the sual race entry next Sunday to contend with.....

Hello - just a quick update:  I did Edinburgh in 5:08, a PB of over 23 minutes despite the heat.  There's a full report over on Len & USB's Just Get Round thread  

Brilliant result, must have been real tough in that heat. I'll go have a look at your race report.

Sub 5 next year...?
