Gazelle - nice bling

Gotta love Hong Kong Phooey

Gazelle - Daren plays guitar. He has very long hair and only wears spandex and leather.....

Gazza - well done girl!

DD - nightmare. I hate getting punctures...

My pedals and cleats and shoes are here. Way too nervous to use them!

No boring chat for me ... Nothing to report

Offline yesterday but looks like I missed out on some thread "banter"

AA - I thought the bike stuff was for Christmas? Don't you have to wait for Santa to deliver them on Christmas Day?

Gazelle - congrats on the prizes

16 miles yesterday - very cold but crisp and dry so nice weather to run in. Progressive pace - 5 @ 8.30s, 5 @ 8.20s, 6 @ 8.10s.  All felt nice

Need to think of a Christmas name.....

03/12/2012 at 09:08

DD:  Punctures are nature's way of making us take a breather

Still lurgified, beginning to feel as if I have had this cold for ever [rather than just the middle of October].

Spoons:  I think your Xmas forum name should be 'Ebenezer Spoons', like me you have the right credentials

Cold has given way to wet

Spoons- lol!

Definitely missed some "banter" Freemers.

In terms of context, and seriousness level, Minni helpfully missed out the previous line of my post which was the question :-

err, "Lone monkey love" thread did you say?

Someone did say engage in the DBS banter, didn't expect the spanish inquisition (no-one does!) or Homeland style monitoring of every RW thread

hope you're feeling better O4S... had this since before TM even?

Anyone had cellulitis?

FRC- you certainly provided some Sunday night entertainment!

well, at least it gave us something to talk about instead of all that boring running!
03/12/2012 at 12:47

It seems so. Gazelle's husband has referred to these threads as "running porn", can see why now.

And Mr Z slap my wrist for not mentioning the tapir photos, very important. They're good.

Brilliant run Freemers

I ran in the snow this morning.  I woke at 4:30 and saw it and was dying to get out and play.  Unfortunately the dogs are away working so didn't have them to frolic with but had a lovely run.

03/12/2012 at 13:10

Great run, Freemers!

Minni, snow!! I'm jealous!

haha, glad the cat is out of the bag

Gazelle: congrats on the bling, well deserved methinks

Cold & ice this morning. Didn't run. Too scared to fall over again now that everything seems to be healing so nicely.

Oh boy, I think I was rather more embarrassing on Friday than I care to remember . I told people things that I clean forgot ... ouch. Apparently I also re-enacted the final scene from Dirty Dancing with a workmate, complete with dialogue. I was dead impressed that he knew all the words! We didn't do the lift at the end though. Phew

FRC - Cellulitis, isn't that just for women.

DD - Wot no puncture proof tyres or repair kit with you, shame on you. You better get prepared, cus over here you're be walking 50m back home if you're not prepared, bliddy hedge thorns.

Freemers - Great run. What about 'festive freemers' as a name. Or following Spoons and O4S, how about 'forget christmas freemers'.

Minni - Nice frolic in the snow, any pics.

03/12/2012 at 13:35

I love the spanish inquisition sketch FRC

Chick - LOL

No snow down here, in fact it feels a lot milder today. No run though - taking a rest day.

03/12/2012 at 13:41

Chick- what a class act!  Shame about no lift...

03/12/2012 at 14:18

Nice one Chickadeee

aarrgghh - I've just uploaded my Garmin to Fetch. My November mileage was 96 miles. That's the lowest it's been since May 2010
