T, tell Bernard the simple answer is 'I don't know'!

XB, I did toy with getting up and starting the month with an extra, sneaky, couple of miles this morning but was just too tired

Listening to your body is good.

And with me going to log a double figure run today, you'll be playing catch up until...erm...Thursday. Probably. And then you'll leave me for dust.

Kaz - will watch this space.

I am in P1 in the Fetch training league.

2 plus 20 miles done and dusted

We have a windy few day for going outside running. Tomorrow is my long run day with hubby and maybe a friend too. Need to catch up on some sleep as had a bad night on Monday night.

Nice running XB.

At least it's due to get a bit warmer T.

Kaz - I can run in the cold and rain but the wind is the hardest.

Not overly keen myself though it's easier when it's dry.

Seem to be going down with the lurgy which I'm most dis-chuffed about.

02/02/2011 at 12:58

((((Kaz)))) hopefully the lurgy will be gone before your marathon double.

I don't mind short runs in the rain, but not long runs.

Another rest day for me I'm slipping down the Fetch February league.

I have decided to take it easy before next Saturday on the basis that I can't do much to improve but I could do plenty of harm.

How's that lurgy, Kaz?

03/02/2011 at 09:07

Get better soon Kaz- its going round work again so i'm doing my best to avoid it!

Did 7 miles on Tuesday qith 6 x 800m efforts- and looking back to this time last year i was running 400m repeats at a slower time so very happy with where i'm at so far

Just off out for a 9 miler at marathon pace!

Not feeling so lurgied today so am hoping it's one of those 24 hour things.  Still a bit bunged up but nowhere near as snuffly as yesterday

Nice running VikW.  Always good to see improvement and a great motivator to keep going.  Hope the run today goes well.

T, presume you're out on your long run.  Hope you don't get blown away!  At least the sun's shining.

Aiming for a 'pacey' 5-6 miler tonight but will see how I feel and modify accordingly.

Kaz - Bernard and I did our 16 mile long run in 2:57, bloody knackered now.

Well done T.  Good running there
03/02/2011 at 21:05

That's a great time, Tracey. Well done.

I'm looking forward to 4 miles of intervals tomorrow, a slow short one on Saturday then 7ish on Sunday and that'll do for me other than nice and easy short ones.

What are your taper plans Kaz?

03/02/2011 at 21:10

Taper?  Hmm, I don't normally do enough training to taper!

Toying with an invitational 5 miler on Saturday (more the run I'd do on my own but in company than as a race) and will do about 10 on Sunday (to club, First Steps, then home).  Other than that just ticking over stuff.

03/02/2011 at 21:17

Sounds like a plan.

03/02/2011 at 21:34

Thanks you two

Kaz - sounds like a good plan. There a church like building past the bird place next to a playground. It was open today and war building and is open every Thursday, Sunday and Bank Holiday.

Good morning

The 4 miles of intervals hasn't happened. Me and the dog just looked at the amount of water falling from the sky and thought "Naaaaaaaaah, we'll go later".

I will go. Honest.

But first, the van needs to go for an MOT. And if he's a good little van he might get a new gear stick.

Morning, had planned a wee runette this morning but having been awake on and off during the night listiening to the wild winds I decided to bin it.
