Will - good to hear you have recovered well from your heroics & are already planning your next exploits!Interval session tonight - a bit shorter than usual but at same intensity .. 4 miles in total with 4 x 800 @ 7.04 / 400 recoveries @ 9.14.... have to say it felt relatively easy ... must be all this tapering!A few shorter runs this week and then I travel on Saturday morning (4 hrs), expo in the afternoon & a Bella Ristorante booked for Sat evening

I did London the other weekend in 3:59:13 so very very chuffed!!! I ran the first half in 1:59:21 and the second half in 1:59:52 so not bad pacing.

Fantastic James - very well done! Brilliant pacing - very few people achieve even splits in a marathon - the vast majority have fairly exaggerated positive splits so that's great.
Suggests you had a bit more in the tank though which bodes well for your next one!
James, that's a very well paced run - never easy at London with the crowded course.

A total of 695 miles clocked up during those 18 weeks!I intend to do nothing other than stretch between now & raceday on SundayNoticed my HR slightly up on my easy run this evening so hope I'm not coming down with something!

Good luck Ricky! Keep us posted! I've been a bit quiet of late as work has been manic, but I have done 3 runs a week for the last 3 weeks, so am getting back into a routine. Back at the derm a week Monday, who knows a bit of good news might prompt me to enter a race!

Rachel - glad to see you are enjoying regular running again.. fingers crossed the Doc gives you the AOK.Dd - carb loading isn't going great... my normal diet is fairly carb heavy in any case so just upped my intake a little over last few days. No drastic changes for fear of upsetting bathroom habits *ahem*.
Dave - you are undoubtedly correct! Weather forecast is reasonable for Sun morn in Limerick - dry, sunny intervals, 14mph wind but 17deg which is a little bit warm for my liking.... what will be will be.Off in the morning and have a long journey - straight to the expo, then check in to hotel and off out to the best italian in Limerick! Probably not get back online until tomorrow evening in the hotel
Dave - I seem to remember you saying that you were running the Richmond Park HM this weekend. Best of luck with that.
