Slight change of route

Came through Greenwich yesterday on way back from expo and noticed that route now runs straight through High Street so we will not be running around the Cutty Sark, apparently work being done to the area makes it too tight, also the Foot Tunnel will be clsoed for the week end as the lifts are not working, only a ferry service which will be limited and slow

Yup.
The extra 250m will be made up round docklands if i recall - going the "long" way around a roundabout plus one other extra lengthened bit.

To be honest I doubt we'll notice it.

It will be quite nice for the mid pack runners not to get the bottleneck at Cutty Sark
