and yes... Alice got to the end .. 7 miles longest run .. not sure of her time - around 4.55 I think... crazy and amazing in equal measure and I hope not too galling for the two ladies who had put so much into their training...

sun was out yesterday - it was an amazing day .. we did a rooftop bar crawl along the front - I had 3 mojitos and a fair amount of rose wine.. ate crisps peanuts and not much else.. oops.. hence did not feel totally bionic whilst plane delayed, luton passport queue an hour long. home at 2am Nice time and film crew arrived here at 6.45 am .. zzzzzz must get to bed early tonight...

Great report Susan. Sounds like a lovely run, well done for coaching / helping everyone. Alice did well on 7 miles max run, latent fitness?

Completely agree about those long reports too, ciceros for 5k was sooo long (lightning about to strike or nose growing ever larger). Yours was perfect though.

No running for me since Sat, very bummed out plague victim Sunday & DNS. A few days away, lots of lovely food, 20 lengths swimming yesterday and today. 24 hours after all fine. Grrr. Off to a gig tonight.

Oh, I love mojitos too. Enjoy your rest Susan, congrats again to all.

Great report susan you are very special you know. Cant believe anyone could finishing with 7 as longest run and sub 5!

Glad your feeling better FRC enjoy the break

10 miles today after a 10k yesterday thats about it till sunday but have to admit not having taper madness is nice!

Great report Susan - and well done on Mara #11 (I think) and for your support to the others!

Horrible, horrible run tonight - severe stomach cramps and I struggled around 5.6miles at 9 min pace - was glad to get home.  May rethink my idea of Gosport Half on the 18th now...

Sorry to hear that Dave

Great report Susan - really enjoyed reading it. How did the filming go?

07/11/2012 at 08:18

Yay Susan!  You are a superstar helping everyone round. Looking  back, hangover gone, sleep had, did you enjoy it? Monday sounds EXcellent

Dave - your mojo will be back - you're just mentally cream crackered after marathon training.  Give yourself permission to not run and just don't worry about it.  But if you don't come to Gosport you'll have ME to answer to.

On that note - off to see if I can run for two hours without stopping in preparation for Gosport.  Wish it was a bit less lumpy around here.

I liked your report too, Susan. It was rather jolly and lovely. My cat is snoozing and purring on my shoulder in my bed. Nice! Putting off run. Interval. Yuk. Unhealthy pre run dinner. Oops.

I'm sorry everyone if I was grumpy about my knee. At the beginning of the week. Especially FR and furthermore C. It's all about going back to work. I didn't mean to be grumpy. I like all everybody's advice and helpful niceness. I do a Lot.
