and yes, it was 1 degree here too Scott, cold, wet and very damp.. foggy so made you cough. nice careful 9 miles with a little fast finish last mile. Cold weather expected the next few days everyhwhere?
League race this Sunday, ~5.5 miles nearby 4 laps of a park, but 4-5 of us are running back another 6 miles after to some kindly gents house who is doing cooked breakfasts with the best Aga cooked sausages in Merseyside, plus all the trimmings. Clue - he may have Panther legs...
Very boring here running to work and back done 21 miles so far this week and need to do a long run tomorrow as race day gets nearer every day.....New shoes to try out ready for fell race coming up..

Well I went to club run and at about 2 miles from start my calf went again (not a real surprise) so walked/slow jog back home. I was surprised it felt so good just after one day's rest and should have been sensible and rested more but I am not sensible so didn't. I am ever so slightly piss*d off at not being able to run...must see if I can cycle with it on turbo trainer.
You will be glad to know that my tea intake so far today has been modest. I am very excited and waiting with great expectation of Susan's track session report from this evening....
Funny umbongo.....hope the calf improves, mine went two years ago like I had been shot in the calf not nice.
I had a brilliant TRS session last night. Just sayin'... =) I have high hopes for my 12 miler on Sunday. Think of me! Then 3 weeks' marathon training. DONE!
