Bloody noisy lurker, Wabo
Well, lovely club friend has leant me her Garmin. She is fabulous. So that's sorted, then my Dad's ex girlfriend turned up with some wine (don't ask) - had forgotten she was coming. Just before that J rang to say his car wouldn't start. Turns out it was the immobiliser blah blah and is all sorted now but a worry (as in 'that's all I need') at the time. LAst massage client wants to bring her son on the way back from a match - can he sit in the kitchen and do his homework. Agggh - have you SEEN our kitchen? She, bless her, has two cleaners and her house is always spotless... So now need to clean kitchen instead of packing.
Never mind. This time tomorrow...
"Louis Joseph G was born 3.11pm today weighing 8lb 3oz after a long wait and long labour! He's gorgeous and we're all doing well. E, R and L x"
That's definitely a Tutu personal best.

I can beat that. I thought one of my friends children was called Wade for 6 months
Misheard him when we said he was going with baby (to be) Weighed.
Wabo, you are the active thread guru and clearly in charge with AH AND Susan away.
Another 9 miles, your weekly mileage is great at the moment. Still think you can do sub 4 sometime soon, this year or next. How is the running feeling at the moment?
Fab speed/ strength session last night, upto 100kg back squat on my list set, plus assorted split squats, partial pistol squats.. actually lots of squats and stretching. Always feels hard. Tempo run tonight, start ramping it up the next 4-6 weeks to MP miles and under... Hard work starts here.
Great to hear of baby Louis arrive
I was waiting for two babies - Tutu has won that race as well! Well done, must have been a lot of work.
Yehhhh! Well done Tutu!
frc morning. My mileage will go through the roof ths week! My running feels great at the moment, it feels a bit heavy on the lsr but whenever I do some sort of speed its great. Half marathon on sunday but as it will be incorporated into my 18 mile run I am not sure what to expect. Plan is to run to the start (3.25) miles do the race and then see if I can do a little more. If I am honest if it feels like i can go under 2 I will be happy to do no more at the end!
Ikle thats taper madness for you, dont worry.
My daughter's friend had her two babies the same day as tutu, they are gorgoeous she had a boy and a girl!
Ikle you will be fine. Legs get a bit twitchy when you rest them. Park run slow and then enjoy the carb load on Saturday night. I always try and get 5-10 minute slow warm up in 20-30 minutes before the start of a race..plus some stretches. What do TRS have you do? Wabo which half for you ? Enjoy. Bet you surprise yourself. Didds. How are things with you? Nice 8.5 for me last night in an absolute pea soup of fog. Achilles a bit tight so taking it easy. Massage today and loosening up.. will take it easy though.
First run done legs still very tired but its a stsrt
