Its a bit quiet on here
Thanks FRC - peaked at 35 mpw but after a week no running i feel unfit, lethargic and have started to eat rubbish. I will re focus i promise but this is harder than not running. Had to stop the bike too and now complete rest so things not looking great but i wont give it.
Ikle - how's the training for you?
Acoops - my discomfort is now very much in the hip (front) - do you recommend sports massage and stretching? It's a mover this injury
Feel very cheated this morning bought a bacon and cheese roll with large coffee (i know!!!) half way through it an no sign of the cheese........
Have a great day everyone
get in there ... TOTP (again)
It's a sign Shedboy ! Hang in there ...
Thanks Susan - still think youve got the best username on RW!! its an insipration to me
ooohhh got 60 min sports massage tonight ... always feel a million dollars afterwards but 60 mins instead of 30
Hey Shedboy - my hip problem is an ache that kind of begins at the back and extends around to the front.. if that makes sense. Massage has sorted it out every time, usually involving a couple of well placed shoves and twists of my leg. I've been told to use my roller for 20mins a day to keep the muscles happy. I am not very good at doing this.. but getting better. Keep up the rest - it's just as important as training, if not more.
Foam rollering is horrid. I made myself do it at the gym last night even though nothing hurts. I know or am pretty sure my knees will hurt as usual in VLM, so it's a good thing to do.
In OTHER NEWS I found out today that I got a distinction (1st) for my 3rd year MA education on differentiation and I am SO EXCITED AND PLEASED! I am not a firsts sort of a girl you know! Can now just concentrate on VLM sub 4 and surviving OFSTED which is looming. School next door done today and tomorrow. Gulp. I really do not Like that sort of thing.
This has been nothing to do with running mostly.
The end. XO
Training good I think. Only doing 4 runs a week with cross training, but am ok with that. Course tomorrow then the weekend. Hoorah. Busy busy.
well done Ikle!
Thanks Acoops - yeah i need to get better with the Grid foam roller. why i do it for 30 seconds and then get distracted is rubbish really!!
Wow Ikle awesome work .. Well done I do often only 3 runs a week sometimes 4.. It's fine
Well done IKLE
I only run 3 times a week and never any more due to work and the many other things life throws at you and yes Im sure I could be quicker but half full not half empty glass says Ive done OK
Hang in there everyone. Whatever time you run one thing you will still be a MARATHON RUNNER. How many people can say that
just passing but hey ikle well done!!! amazing x
hello everybody xx

Yes FRC only runs three times a week but they are marathons!
