Oh and a good searching tip is to leave everything set as it is just change the "Dates From:" and "Dates To:" to include all dates, then everything that is available will come up.

Good results Tracey!  Is she pleased?  What does she want to do?

23/08/2012 at 18:58
IT & Graph Design

Fantastic results Tracey

Interesting that Kierrah got her best results in the 'Sciences', that is really good.  I'm sure she could have a far 'better' career than IT & Graphic Design; she obviously has a bent towards the 'harder' subjects.

Apologies if that doesn't make sense, after all what do i know about GCSE's!!  She did great anyway!

7 mile walk this morning with some running bits in - just need to alter that ratio of walking to running a bit (a lot!!)

TS - with tried hard to pursued Kierrah to do a Science or Maths A Level as well but she will not budge. We talk her into doing Triple Science after she couldn't do French GCSE.

Kierrah struggled with her Science course work IAA's. Her teacher had to seat with her through some of them. She like Art since primary school as they had a dedicated art teacher. Plus she's had her own pc since she was little. Think dads love of IT rubber off on to her.

What's fun is one of her friends wants to be a nurse but only did Double Science and now wished she'd done Triple Science.

What is she going to do next Tracey?

24/08/2012 at 22:00
Cinders - Graphic Design and Double IT.

Brilliant results! You must be so proud Tracey

Got Lyndy here with me until Tuesday We went to Westfield last night as I needed an outfit for my niece's wedding last week. Got a lovely navy and white suit Just got to go and buy shoes and a bag to match. I was getting too tired last night to carry on shopping. Obviously I'm not quite back to where I was this time last year but I'm getting there.

And today, I have said goodbye to my friends who are heading back home to New Zealand But I'm going there in March 2014 to do Rotorua marathon Only about 19 months lol

Roobs - have we got a date for Roding Valley half
27/08/2012 at 16:31

Last time I did it (when we did it last year with Karen) I swore I'd never do it again but I probably will...... its local and I can use it as part of a long run again. Is there a date yet?

Not sure whether to book Silverstone half.

Did 15 miles with my friend Sharon this morning and it was hard work
28/08/2012 at 09:40

I'm thinking of entering Silverstone also Tracey.

29/08/2012 at 14:05

I'm going to do Silverstone too Cinders/Tracey

The paralympic torch comes past the top of my road this evening - hope the rain stops by then lol! Been watching it live at work on my pc but the link got lost a while back It was due at County Hall next door around 1.20 but they're running late. Don't think I'll go out and see it here; I'll just wait until this evening.

Morning everyone

Phew, came back from Roobs and the Paralympic Village in Tuesday but it's taken me this long to get my head around getting back to normality.  Don't think I'm really there yet, but need to get back to my work routine.

Before I went to The Village I was feeling a little peeved that I hadn't been selected to work at an events venue, but the experience of being in The Village with all the athletes milling around has been amazing.

On Monday and Tuesday my shifts finished at 1:30 and I spent the afternoon just milling around and soaking up the atmosphere.  On Tuesday I wsas able to get a set of stamps done in The Village Post Office with my photo on them.  £18.25 for 20 stamps so not much more than normal first class stamps.  I bought two sets, one to send and one to keep so I sent off postcards to all the grandkids, mums and aunts and they have been hand franked with the Paralympic Village stamp.

When it came to leaving on Tuesday I must admit to shedding a tear or two and was even quite tearful on Wednesday.  Not so bad now, but it wouldn't take much to set me off.  It's a bit like post marathon blues I suppose.
