I'm so easy to please.

Hope the wedding was nice Tracey.  You'd better be carefull hanging around outside pubs at that time of night though, you'll be getting yourself into trouble

Found out last week that Shrek the Musical is to finish in February and as we've always wanted to see it I booked tickets for a friday night in January, to give Mr L time to get over his knee replacement.  Then, on Friday I got an email from Premier Inns to say they were doing £49 special offer nights in London so quickly got on line and booked a room at the London Bridge hotel.  Today I saw an advert for Cirque du Soleil at The Albert Hall.  We saw it in Vegas and it was amazing.  How they do what they do with their bodies is beyond comprehension.  So now I've booked matinee tickets for the Saturday.  Knew it was a good idea to book that hotel room   Oh, and   Hehe

Am next there tomorrow morning Tracey

Hello everyone

Not much to report here runningwise. I brought my stuff in to go out lunchtime but its peeing with rain. I don't mind it raining once I am already out there but I don't like going out in it from the start lol! So that means it will be Wednesday before I run again as we are doing a Corporate Responsibility day tomorrow in a nursery in Peckham

Love the thumbs up!

OK, let's try

I agree with you Roobs, I don't mind getting wet if I am out, but I hate starting off in the rain.

This mornings run was cancelled, it's Columbus Day here so lots of kids off school therefore only 2 of us running so I had a lie in instead   Have got my gear on with the intention of going to the gym and doing a bit of sprint training on the treddie - I will let you know if I get there and how I get on!!!

I'm so lazy, I can see into the gym windows from our dining room and see if there is anyone on the treddie before I go and and I still can't be bothered to go sometimes

How was Boot Camp Cinders??  Getting settled in back at work now?

Cinders - good luck with Boot Camp tomorrow x

My thighs, bum and arms ache from today's shredding. Day 25 today, so only 5 days left. But may continue for a few more days so that I can to the harder versions of some moves that I'm struggling with.

You'll need to keep up with it won't you Tracey so you don't go all flabby again

Roobs - I'm still flabby

Morning all  I've got a lactate threshold test at lunchtime today - I am NOT looking forward to it...but I'm determined to get fit for this marathon for the first time!!  Trainer did gait, mobilty, flexabilty and so on yesterday...and he's going to do me out a strengthening programme and a running schedule (he weighed me too )

I'm sorry for starting this so early - but do you think it's better to get a hotel near the start or near the finish and does anyone have one they would recommend?  My hubby and two youngest kids (19 and 21) will be coming too Fanks!

GFB - am very interested your strengthening exercises

Sorry I can't help you with VLM hotels as my home is my hotel
12/10/2012 at 14:46
I've put my name down to do VLM baggage for my club. So hopefully I will get to do it next year.

GFB, depends whether you are just staying the night before or the night after too.

We did both nights and and stayed on Pall Mall, the joy of just walking round the corner after the marathon was brilliant.  To have had to get on the tube for an hour afterwards would have been tough, but I would imagine it's a great atmosphere!!

Mr TS dropped me at Charing Cross early on the morning and it was easy to get the train to the start.  You are awake early on the day wherever you are!
