Slow, steady but determined.
I just looked and we are at post 60,000 too - so I bagged it
Top bagging TS lol
Very quiet on here
Did 3m today at lunchtime Brighton 10k Sunday. Oo-er! lol
Roobs - good luck for Brighton 10K
Hope all the lurgies have gone?
My cold is much better, I have run a couple of very slow 4-5 milers this week. Not been easy to get out as OH is in Huston at the moment, he went last Sunday but will be back middle of next week.
Have a good weekend everyone
Morning MWW and all Is that a work trip for your OH?
Good luck Roobs
MWW, tell hubby to come and say hi to Mr TS and me!
Good luck for Brighton ladies tomorrow
Got very messily drunk last night. Not the best thing to do 36 hours before a race eh? lol Am rehydrating gradually though
Managed 1.15.51 today.I was aiming for 1.15.00 so not too far out Happy, smiley face this evening lol xxx
Well done Roobs - especially after your ace preparation
Manged 7 miles across the forest yesterday. Made the mistake of jumping over a puddle onto what turned out to be very slippery mud, and falling onto my hands and knees. Nice soft landing though.
Happy birthday to Tracey today!
You and your tumbles Diana Although that is a very easy thing to do!
4 miles again today in 40:07, was especially pleased with it as there was only 3 of us today and the other 2 are speedier than me so I sent them off ahead and I plodded on my own listening to my audiobook. Usually when I am on my own I either go off too fast and blow up or plod too slowly.
Really well done to you Roobs, if I had had a 'messy night' on Friday, I would still be wiped out on Sunday!
Happy Birthday Tracey
Oops, wrong smiley Tracey
can i join you? am doing london marathon next year (will be my first marathon) and aiming for sub 5hours- so your group sounded perfect!
i used to run a lot, but in recent years have got a bit lazy, so now just gradually trying to remind my legs what running is and build up the miles..
Hi dj and welcome! Nice to 'see' you
Forgot to mention that Lyndy was very busy Saturday night making a banner for the end of the race with all the peach pics from our facebook 'turn facebook peach' campaign
Might try a parkrun on Saturday
Happy birthday Tracey
Welcome dj gj. My legs know exactly how your legs are feeling. Just about managed to get two miles under my belt last week, my first run for months. I'm supposed to be running with Roobs in VLM, but only time will tell Not very good at putting the running gear on at the moment
Well, I won't be running today. Bliddy wind nearly blew me off the road on the cliff top ad that was in a big van fully loaded with appliances
I went to Tracey's club this evening and ran for just under half an hour - without walking Think I am finally getting somewhere now I am going to run home from work on Thursday
Hope the wind drops so that you can get out for a run soon Lyndy
Great news Roobs!
