Slow, steady but determined.
Yes Tracey, he's been in school. We have no snow, not one little flake. I'm a bit disappointed for him, he's been wanting to use his sledge!
Lol thanks Topsec . Thanks ladies Was going for a run when got home, hopefully before it snowed on all the ice which was left over. No chance, by time got home we had bout inch and half to 2 inches of snow and still coming heavy. So just had an hours fast walk round the village. Hopefully by sunday the snow will be deep enough to cover the ice, ready for 12 mile in snow
I came home from work early this afternoon as I am still having blimmin stomach problems Its been snowing all day but by the time I got back home, it had gone to mush and was icing over. I can see my run this weekend being on the dreadmill at the council gym How boring will that be? It'll be really hot too so it'll be vest and shorts lol Hopefully we'll get a fall of snow Saturday night which means I'll be able to get out early in the fresh stuff
Roobs - hope you fell better today?
km10- hope your 12 miler goes well
No LSR for me today, very trecherous conditions will try to do a shortened version at the gym if it is open!
Well the LSR was fun, 12.2 mile off roads in bout 3 to 4 inches of snow, horrible head wind, or slippery flattened snow . Did it in 2h18m, so was really pleased in that weather etc . Well done Tracey, you had much snow there?
Still feeling quite ropey I'm going to call my oncologist tomorrow as I am having a couple of symptoms that I'm not that happy with Hopefully its nothing but its worth having a chat with her anyway
So...... I didn't get my long run done today
Definitely a good idea to give your oncologist a call Roobs, hope all is OK.
Good going km
Thanks TopSec. Hope all ok Roobs.More snow here over last 24 hrs, so off roading again tomorrow.
Good evening ladies, hope you all ok? Another run off road in the snow today, 3 x 1 mile with 1 mile recovery. Hows everyones training going so far?
Sat here with my running gear on, although getting outside is going to be much harder! Need to wait for breakfast to settle but I'm thinking it's a bit cold
km, I'm not training for anything, just running for health and fitness now. Will try to get a race or two entered so I have a target. Most of my fitness regime at the moment is cycling and walking these days.
A lot of the snow gone here this morning, rain has washed most of it away, temperature is only 1.1 degree so will need to be careful of ice
Running gear is now off and layers and layers of clothing on - I'm frozen!! Didn't run as it was just so cold outside I don't mind the cold usually but today is just that awful damp cold that goes right through to your bones in an instant
