Thanks all for you messages of support, will get an update posted as soon as I collect my bag.

Did a gentle 1.5 miles this morning with strides, all ok and resting now! Starting in blue start and in pen 3, look out for my OlympicNick sign on TV.

Hope you have a good run Rosie and every1 else running tomorrow.

Hey FH. I'll be at the first mile marker on the blue start so will look out for you and your sign!

Hey Rosie, I had a mad dream that you were going to do London tomorrow, after Paris last weekend. Oh, er.... it wasn't a dream?  Have a good one out there! Hope you're feeling up for it. I'll see the green and blue starts, but not the red as that goes a different way for first 3 miles.

Good luck to everyone else who is running tomorrow, too. Remember, rein yourselves in over the early miles, stick to your plan but above all, enjoy the race. Hope it goes brilliantly!

This answers my question!

I ran this morning 7.5 miles, legs feeling ok - but not sure I could handle another marathon this weekend after last!  Madness...

Good luck all and more importantly HAVE FUN!

Fit Running Cat, Hello!  Welcome to the thread etc. Yey for Edinburgh! Please do say Hi, sounds like we'll be in the same box. 1:35 for a half sounds like you're on track for sub 3:30 too. Have you run Edinburgh before?

Loads of luck to everyone running tomorrow!. I'm at the green start so won't see you Sam , not that I ever manage to see supporters anyway as you know  (Sam had to run to catch me at Paris to hand me a drink I was so blinkered). Haven't decided quite how slow to do tomorrow yet, legs feel fine but don't want to overdo it with Edinburgh coming up so thinking of LSR pace and just enjoying the atmosphere. Boots at Edinburgh airport was funny this morning. There was a bit of a rush on tracksuited people buying travel size vaseline in the queue I was in...

Yey for MotN numbers too oscarr!, my flight was super early so didn't see my post at home this morning but guess mine will have arrived too.

Right, off to find some carbs.. Fingers crossed for a great race for all those going for PB's tomorrow.

Sleepy - just been on VLM website (wonder why??) - see that Ben can get entry in the Championship category based on his half time being under 1:15 - now there's food for thought for you.......

Oh and for a moment there I thought Ben was actually tempted - he was asking questions about championship entries and even now there is a tab open with all the VLM results - we'll get him in the end oscarr!

Will put splits up tomorrow, got to half way in about 1:44, felt really good up to about 19/20 miles and then didn't feel very good, think it was lack of water and the sun.

Happy to go from 4:03 down to 3:42.13 so really pleased.

Thanks again for the support.
