@meldy - have you posted on the Asics forum threads (for the ones that are trying to get the asics place) to maybe encourage/bribe/ take them over?

I think Minni is on the recruitment drive over there !!   I think a lot of them are waiting for the results before posting over here 

Yep I think once the winners are announced tomorrow the 'real' winners will then be pitching on here!   There's some really good people about this year so it should be good.

just follow the Asics link from the RW front page Emmy.

It looks like two "first timer's" got through and nobody from the "busy lifestyle" category.  I think it confirms my suspicion that the results are pretty much decided before the votes.

For those that are interested. Here are the Asics final 5

They run the competition so they make up the rules as they go along.

VERY sad that the over  50s are not represented again. Asics are ageist IMHO........ there are loads of over 50s on RW, yes I know us chaps are bald and dont take good pics but we have a bit of cash to buy trainers I think its a real shame that the five, whom I wish well are all fairly young whipper snappers who are going to blow their times out of the water anyway........

mcs.baldness can be very sexy................. 

and we would not ever stop Minni from spamming the forums

i hope we get a few of the unsuccessfuls form the asics come over.....a number of them have proived to be interesting and i think would make a big contribution to our number......if we had catergories we could have an asics reject catergory.........

its interesting to see that some of those that got through did not have many posts or views on their threads..........surely views on threads is what keep RW online a success..as advertisers would need to know lots of people are lurking here even if they don't post

haha - i never said i wanted her to stop posting about the RW Forum 6!! However at the rate she's advertising this I wouldn't be surprised if handbags and sunglasses from china were next!
