Three miles icy jog to work with daughter too, she wanted a decent run out as going to Paris today for a week with cousins. Bit dangerous under foot so being careful today, may try and get a lift home horrible, only for a tready this weather!! Happy new week to all.

treddie sounds a good plan Mcs...will be getting warmer later this week so may get out for a very slow plod.... I do look forward to getting out on Christmas morning for a walk or a slow jog before lunch......after lunch is a whole different story....

Seems to be raining here now so hopefully by the time I run home might have thawed out. Trouble is I have nowhere to put a treddy since chopping my house up for married daughter last year...............I am doing a long one on Sunday, what day is that??

Six miles with daughter on a bike chatting to me all the way. Winter sun and hardly anyone about......just ran too quickly.

4.3 miles uphill and down on the fell run in headwind and rain lovely and muddy too.

Happy and healthy New Year everyone good luck for 2012
what ever you targets may be.

 Hope to have the chance to meet you somewhere around the country during the Year.
Will be at Milton Keynes half,Reading half, Bluewater 10km and Basingstoke half to mention a few. Also may well be marshalling at Brighton and will be in registration for Virgin London marathon.... oh and a few jobs for the Olympics so a right boring year to come.... Stay healthy guys and take care...

Five miler at seven thirty this morning with brother and daughter then a nine kms fell walk with twenty relatives and friends so need food now and lots of it.

You seem to be up to a good mileage base mcs.  What is on the schedule this week?

Well my mileage for December was 0.  Moving house and Christmas put running on the back burner.  No spring marathon for me this year, maybe an Autumn on, possible Abbingdon but we will see.

Gatton - hope to see you at Bluewater in June then.

Might try and get to the gym one morning this week just to get a few miles under my belt.

Hi Suze yep been fit since GNR so been doing 25 plus every week getting into the 30s some weeks too so really pleased with that. Hope you can get going in 2012. Happy 2012 and a settled one hopefully once the boxes are all unpacked!! Three miles at lunch and a cycle home then five tomorrow and then 3 on Saturday and a longer one Sunday still taking it easyish as five months away till my Marathon in May.

Week two marathon schedule and time to do intervals........late night no morning working so must get up and run to work and yippee no head torch required. Any others training?

Week four of the schedule and did a 10K trial yesterday in driving rain and it hurt abit. 47mins 40 secs but could do bettter with support and in a race I reckon. Must try one.

Weeks rockin by and training hurting a wee bit now.......only six weeks to go till we hit the road north.
